Thanks for the Mo-mories

Yes, the Mo's of 2008 have been laid to rest and for some, the Big Mo-Off could not come soon enough. Here endeth the labour of love for our intrepid band of wandering minstrels, pirates, porn stars, dodgy used car salesmen, 70's PE teachers, Wild Hogs wannabe's and hirsuite hippies!

Thanks to the generosity of co-workers (2nd floor peeps - you rock!!), friends and family the 2008 WestOne MoBro's donated $1630.50 towards finding ways to combat male health issues such as prostate cancer and depression. And hey, the phone lines are still open.....

Mo-inspired food and flying hair was the order of the day, with Donna's Mo-cupcakes taking pride of place in Joel's Mo! Unfortunately we couldn't quite coordinate the event to get all the Mo Bro's and Sista's together and our blog-star James needs to be commended for his inspiring creation and the messages of peace, love and bristles, which have adorned this Blog. Big ups to you JT!

Enjoy the show :)

Wow, you can nearly see that Mo now it has black icing in it!

Gently does it for 'Herr' Miller

Aaah - the anticipation! Would you buy a car off this man?

It's a keeper - the Patriot/Trucker lives to grow another day

Some of the freshly shorn crew - great effort MoBro's!

Just like one of those flashback shows...

And so Movember has come to a close. And what epic journey, such as the one we've all just been through, would be complete without a bit of a wander down the avenues of nostalgia.

Movember brought us opportunties to bring to life some old classics (albeit terrifying ones)...

...to the more contemporary...

...to the criminally-questionable...

As well Movember providing us much laughter in the form of the many and varied photos that graced this blog, it also gave the WestOne Mo Bros a chance to raise money for a number of very good causes.

And such raising of funds would not have been possible were it not for the efforts of all you folk out there who supported the Movember movement, chipped in dollars, porn star jokes and patient looks when the moustaches started looking tragic (which was about day 2, from recollection).

Big thanks also to Dave T, who kept us amused all month with his swashbuckling Photoshoppery of Awesomeness. At this stage, he may be the only one sad that Movember is over...

Huzzah to the Mo Bros and Mo Sistas and all the supporters! Start prepping those upper lips for next year!
